My first ever coordinate is something a little tricky for me to personally define. I have the first ever dress I bought, but I don't consider that dress apart of my first ever coordinate because I just didn't wear it out or ever officially said, "This is my coordinate." Until I actually bought my third dress!
I started lolita fashion when I was 16 years old! That's when I bought my first dress, in the spring of 2020 when covid first hit, so I couldn't wear it out. I bought a second dress in September for my birthday, and then my third dress in 2021 after Christmas, and that third dress I consider my first coordinate both because I had all the pieces for it, and it was the first lolita thing I wore in public and declared it my first coordinate.

My first ever coordinate was Infanta's Librarian OP in brown, a brown headbow and shoes from taobao, and plain white stockings. I was 17 years old wearing lolita out of the house for the first time, first to visit a vintage clothing store in my town, and then I wore it to take my senior high school photo! I felt very academic in plaid, and brown made me feel rather mature.
The first ever dress I bought was Infanta's Little Lady's Portrait JSK.
I feel very proud that the first ever lolita piece I bought is such a beautiful and quality piece. When I bought it in 2020 and couldn't go outside, I remember just looking at it forever to pass the time. I eventually wore it out next year in 2021 during my high school senior year, and for my 18th birthday. I love the stockings I bought for it, they have little heads of Victorian women on them so it matches perfectly.
I would love to do a full wardrobe post sometime to see and define my style as a lolita in an organized way sometime! Especially as someone who's a bit of a beginner.
